(adjective) of or relating to a style of writing describing narratives of people of African descent in violent, strange, macabre, or frightening incidents set in remote, mysterious, or desolate places.



The definition above comes from a meaning blending of Afrofuturism and Gothic fiction. In an attempt to better define this genre, I will be looking into other, more established literary movements and genres such as afermentioned. I will add any written work related to the subject to a bibliography below.
